Lightning: The New Standard for Entry-Level Manual Presses
The Lightning Manual Press is our commercial grade manual press designed for many years of trouble free printing. The Lightning has an entry level price, but it’s a press you won’t have to replace. Feature for feature it’s the best value in its class. The Lightning is available in 4-Color/4-Station, 6-Color/4-Station, 6-Color/6-Station, 8-Color/4-Station and 8-Color/8-Station models.
The Anatol engineers designed this press to be lightweight but strong for quick and easy set-ups. The Lightning has been designed to provide the highest print quality and productivity. Both carousels have a top and bottom bearing to give you easy movement through out the day.
The micro-registration we use on our manual machines is the same as the one we use on our automatics. The movement is adjustable on three points: Front-to-Back, Side-to-Side and Rotational.
The pallets (or platens) on all Anatol presses are rubber coated aluminum. The aluminum is 1/4 inch thick and the rubber is 1/8 inch thick. The rubber coating provides a firm but flexible backing for the squeegee to give you a smooth/ chatter free print stroke. Our pallets are available with the Anatol Quick Release System or the slide style.
All Anatol manual presses are manufactured with the “All Heads Down” feature. This is another example of how Anatol is committed to providing you with a complete machine, ready to print world class product.
The Lightning comes standard with side screen clamps. You can mix or match side or back clamps at no additional charge. The side clamps are adjustable to run screens that are 26”x36” and smaller.

Standard Features
PRINTHEADS
- Gauged Three Point Micro-registration- The movement on our registration is a fine thread lead screw design. The movement is adjustable on three points. Front to Back, Side to Side and Rotational. The gauge is designed to be similar to the way your separations line up with each other. The lock on our micro-registration is independent of the movement. That means when you have your screen registered where you want it, it doesn’t move when you lock it.
- “All Heads Down” feature. All heads down allows you to print any color from any print head on any pallet. The “All Heads Down” feature is essential when you are using “flash while print” techniques and printing at more than one station at a time.
- The print heads have an adjustable, guided spring tensioning system that provides a smooth lift and lower (of the print head) no matter what size screen you are using. The adjustment is conveniently located for easy use. The guide system doesn’t require lubrication.
- Side Screen Clamps to provide the maximum in stability. Side Screen Clamps eliminate your screens from wiggling out of registration during the lift and lower while printing.
- Off contact and screen pitch adjustments is located on each print head for full control of the screens off contact while staying parallel to the pallets.
